Girl: "Owe. Look mama, it's ripped."
M: "Do you want a band aid?"
Girl: "No, Mama. I need to go to the hospital."

Another Girl Talk

M: "What name do you like for our baby?"
Girl: "Eli."
M: "You want our baby's name to be Eli?"
Girl: "No. Baby Elaine Wolfe."

Girl Talk

Girl: "I want to put on my buddy slippers."
T: "Oh, your bunny slippers."
Girl: "I say buddy slippers."
T: "Oh, that's funny."
Girl: "It's not funny, Daddy. It's true."

Sledding Fun

Today we took The Girl sledding for the first time! It was a lot of fun, though hiking back up the hill was hard work for me and The Girl. She went a couple times on her own too. But the second time she INSISTED on going down on her own she ran right into a couple that was walking up the hill and didn't care to look up. She toppled off and got a little scrape on her face but mostly she just didn't want to do it any more. We went down one more time with me after that and she yelled at me for not going slow and told me she wanted to go home. Ah well... what an adventure!

The Girl's First Dance Class

The Girl had such a wonderful time at her first dance class today. She was her awesome self... social butterfly, friend to all, and very active. She spent the first 5-10 minutes just galloping in a big circle around all the other little girls who were doing their dances so well.

She loved the tap dancing and actually followed the teacher pretty well. Then she announced to the class that she needed to go potty so we rejoined the group in the gymnasium for some tumbling fun. The Girl just loved swinging from the bars, doing somersaults and crawling up the low bars on all fours. Sorry the pictures aren't too great but the video below is pretty cute.

The Girl got her very own digital camera for Christmas. It is a Fisher Price Kids Tough Camera. She loves to take pictures of everything... mama, dolls, the ceiling fan, and once in a while... a pretty good picture!

New Year's Eve Party

The Girl had a great time at the Wolfe Family New Year's Eve party. She had plenty of people to give her attention. Papa even played with The Girl in her little tent! She got to stay up until 10:30... which is passed midnight in New York! We were all playing Bunco while The Girl played with her toys happily. Or was she just a little to quiet? Come to find out, she had found a bowl of "Bomba candies" (Hot Tamales) and was hiding in the corner of the room eating them.
