Our First Christmas... yep it's early!

We got to open presents from T's parents with them watching on the web camera. Here are some highlights!

"Thanks Nauna and Bompa for my new bike. It's the best bike I ever had," says The Girl.

The Boy got lots of cute toys too, but his favorite was a monkey hand puppet. Thanks Ingalls! You'll love this video of him laughing. He laughs every time he sees it!

A few presents and fun photos

Last night we got to open a few presents from T's parents! The Girl got a Buzz and Woody doll and roller skates. T and I got Rock Band 2! We had to test it out and it is so much fun! We are going to have some rockin' parties now!!! They even have a freestyle mode where The Girl can just play the drums. So perfect!

The Girl had a fun time pushing The Boy around in the laundry hamper yesterday. It is so fun to see her interacting with him more. She bundled him up in a blanket and even put toys in the basket for him. What a good big sister!

The Boy's New Tricks!

The Boy climbed up our two little steps today, twice! Both times I missed it with the video camera, but I'm sure he will be doing it again soon! He is also getting better at sitting up on his own! What a big boy. I think he is working on all his mad skills so he can show off for Christmas!

Yesterday, a sweet friend of mine watched THe Boy for me during my surgery. She said he did great. I think she must have given him "happy juice" or something because he was soo happy the rest of the evening. He's such a fun boy and a great eater! That is soo nice to have.

M's surgery

It looks like M's sinus surgery was a success. She is at home resting. Thank you to everyone that has and will be helping!

The Girl is being very careful around M, and she just said this to her after seeing the bandage on M's wrist where the IV was:
"Mommy, I'm being very soft so your hand doesn't break off."

Fun Friday Night

Last night was super fun. I got to go see The Nutcracker, for the first time, with my friend Shannon. It was soo beautiful. My favorite part was in the land of snow. The ground looked like ice and it was snowing around them.

The Girl and T (and The Boy) had their own little party with popcorn, gum drops, marshmallows, hot chocolate, and the movie ELF. I wish I could have watched it with them cause I love that movie!

It Finally Looks Like Christmas around here!

This week we did our Christmas decorations. We got the lights up on the house. T did the hard parts up high and on the roof. I put the lights around the garage doors. Then we got our tree and decorated it. We hung PICTURES in our house (finally) and T's Boar's head (complete with Christmas lights around his neck). We got our Christmas wreath and Nativity up. It is soo nice to have a beautiful home!

Meeting Santa

The Girl was so cute today. We had our Ward Christmas Breakfast. She barely wanted to eat anything cause she was so excited to see Santa. She heard him "ho ho ho"-ing in the hall way and got the biggest grin on her face. She sat on his lap and said "Merry Christmas" and got a bag of candy. Then someone asked her what she told Santa she wanted for Christmas and she said "oh, no. I forgot to tell him." So we had to go back in line (at the very end) and tell Santa what she would like. "5 things," she kept telling me. "I want 5 things." From her big "wish list" she picked her 5 favorite, because we had to explain to her that Santa couldn't bring everything on her list. Her 5 favorites are: a bike, talking Woody and Buzz dolls, Snow White play shoes, and the Tinkerbell movie. She's so funny.
