A few new pics

Isaac eating spaghetti. LOVED it!

Isaac wearing his bowl hat... :) Everything is a potential hat to Isaac.

Cute kiddos playing around.

Lily loved wearing her flower girl dress today at church. Oh yeah, and I straightened her hair today. She liked the change but I caught her brushing her hair with water to get her curls to come back. :D

Lily's new bed. See how the comforter matches her walls so well! Nice coincidence! The curtains are a little darker pink but she likes them okay. Too cute!

Lily Talk

As we were driving yesterday, I was passing Isaac some vanilla wafers, eat one every now and then myself. Then I put on some Burt's Bees lip gloss that is really minty. Lily said, "I smell Girl Scout Cookies! Can I have a Girl Scout Cookie, Mom?"

Totally random... haven't seen Thin Mint Cookies for months! But she related the cookie smell with the mint lip gloss smell to be Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies.

Woah! What a Week!

This past weekend was the wedding of Tommy's little sister Katie. It was such a fun trip! Congratulations Katie and Randy! (Click on a picture to enlarge!) Doesn't Katie look soo beautiful!

Before our trip we were able to go out to Settler's Park and play in the water. Lily loved splashing around and Isaac just loved being outside.

I got sick right before our trip and felt really awful. Lily took good care of me. She had this station set up for water for me. Every time I drank a glass she would refill it for me. I think the sign says Pay $1 but she let me have it for free.

Off to California! Isaac did pretty well on the flight, when they had an extra seat for him! :D

Lily got a special treat with me... a trip to the nail salon! She especially loved the big candy bar and bag of Doritos (her favorite) at the end! :D

Wedding excitement! In the excitement of it all, Tommy left Lily's flower girl dress back at his parents house so Lily did not have it for the pictures at the Temple.

She looked beautiful in her flower girl dress later that night!

On Monday we got to "relax" at the beach. I don't know how much relaxing can be done when you are chasing after two kids, but we know they had fun. Isaac is "Mr. Smiles."

Things you need for a successful trip to the beach:
1) SAND: face full, fists full, mouths full, diapers full... of sand. :D

2) Lots of sunscreen.

3) Some sand toys

4) Matching cousins.

5) WAVES to jump over.

6) Sunglasses

7) Birds to chase and feed.

Flying home. Isaac was all over the place but luckily the flight had a few extra seats again and Lily was proud of herself for finding us a whole empty row so she could sit in the window seat again. Suckers sure helped for a few minutes of peace! I got a nice compliment from an older man as I was leaving the terminal. He said I did a good job on the airplane! Whew... didn't make the flight too uncomfortable for others! We survived!!!

What a Neat Trick!

Yesterday, a wife of one of Tommy's co-workers was feeding her little daughter (one month older than Isaac) a jar of baby food through a straw. I thought, "I've got to try this!" Isaac has refused to be spoon fed for a couple months now and it has been a challenge to get all his vegetables in his daily diet. So, I tried it today and in one minute flat he had the whole container down. AMAZING! Thanks Beth!

Sweet Pictures from the Past

I love to look back through my old photos. Here are a couple that caught my eye:
