Tommy and I traveled to Kauai, Hawaii for our 10th anniversary celebration. :) It was just beautiful. We were so lucky to be able to do a helicopter tour of the island. The views were breathtaking and awe-inspiring. I seriously got teary eyed about 5 different times just from the beautiful of it. Crazy to think about now but it was a marvelous experience.

We had tons of relaxing, book-reading, beach time. :)
We saw/heard many chickens throughout the trip. They reminded me of pigeons in Las Vegas, but much noisier.
This is a new fruit I have never heard of: Rambutan. It reminded me of a kiwi and a plum almost.
We did lots of driving on the island, but luckily the drives were always beautiful and not too long from one city to another.
One day we were lucky enough to find five or six turtles swimming in a bay against the rocks.
Spouting Horn was a little low this day because the wind was pushing the tide and waves out.
We took a sailing trip along the coast. We were supposed to go up to Napali but it was too stormy up there that day so we stayed around the west side of the island. We got to see lots of dolphins, a few whales, and even a hammerhead shark.
One day we went golfing. The views were amazing. My golfing was pretty horrible but it was really fun to be out playing golf with Tommy. :)
Another day we heading up to the north shore to hike the Napali Coast.
Our shoes started out pretty spotless and new looking. Little did we know the hike was super muddy.
There was a pretty big stream to cross but luckily Tommy and I found some rocks to hop across further down stream. :)
This is where we realized it too us two hours to get here and we were only half way to the waterfall and it was 3:30. So we had to turn back.

One the beach we saw a seal sleeping. :)
Our last night we went to a traditional Hawaiian Luau, with roasted pig. :)
