Big Photo Update

Thanks to some family friends, Lily was able to get a new bed and dresser.  It looks soo nice in her room.  She had fun helping me rearrange the furniture for something different. She really wants a new bedspread because she is "soo over pink".  Maybe birthday time.

For preschool "Letter Q" day we did "Queens, Kings, Castles and Things"

We did a little make believe play where the dragons were guarding the princesses and the knight had to rescue them. They all loved taking turns being the dragons, even the princesses!

Isaac started "Little Ninjas" Karate.  He is having a good time learning how to focus and say "Yes Sir" as well.  Pretty cute to watch.

 

Lily got her first Brownie patches last week, a series of four patches called Brownie Quest.  Then, on Saturday, she ran her first 1 mile race, with her dad running alongside her encouraging her the whole way (in the rain no less!).  And she got 2nd place!!!  Tommy was soo proud of her! She won a box of Girl Scout cookies.  She is now selling cookies and looking forward to Bowling night. :)

I also forgot to say that Lily won the Principal's Writer Award for her grade level in December.  So proud of my awesome student!

Christmas Fun

Lily wanted to show everyone how to make your own butter (a project they have done at school a couple of times).  You put cream in a jar and shake.  Everyone got to take a turn.

Family Presents!
Lily got an American Girl doll from Tom and Shauna and a beautiful hand made doll bed from my parents.  She got her first watch from the Katz and some cute new clothes, including a purple sequin dress from Tommy and I.  She also got a new spy board game and a doll suitcase set.

Here is the awesome doll bed my dad built.  I got to sew the mattress and bedding for it, along with the sparkly green curtains.  Lily loves it!

Isaac got a cool scooter from my parents (with wheels that light up... so cool).  He got some fun imaginext superhero toys from Tom and Shauna, as well as some cute new clothes.  He got a cool BYU football from the Katz.  He also got some new movies and a paper airplane book.

Caleb got a cute pull-toy puppy and a doodle drawing pad.  He got a few outfits and some new church shoes.  He got a truck playdoh set from Tommy and I.

 

 I made all my nephews and kids these fun dinosaur tails.  Pretty cute!

 

 

Jackson's Batman birthday party!

Kids' party central... the gym in the garage.  One night they had a sleepover out here.  We only had one midnight guest come join Tommy and I in bed.  Totally startled Tommy when he saw a dark little figure standing over him by the bed.  I figured it was Isaac but in the morning I found out it was actually Jackson! 

Fun Christmas Memories.  We enjoyed so much family time with grandparents and cousins and aunts and uncles.  Sure lucky to have such great families!
