Lily's Big Day

Lily had her preschool graduation today. She looked soo cute in her little class graduation shirt and graduation cap.

Here Lily is showing the "self drawing" she did of what she wants to be when she grows up. She said, "a ballerina dancer."

Lily with her sweet teacher.

Her teacher had the class go through a few things that they get to do every day.

Here is a video of them saying the Pledge of Allegiance.

This evening Lily had her dance recital. She did a great job. She is getting better and really enjoys ballet.

Above is Lily with her good friend Emilia. Below is classic Lily, being a "star" and entertaining the audience. Sorry it is so dark but it was hilarious.

Baby on the Way

We had our baby's ultrasound this week and here are a few pictures from the event. And, if you are wondering if we chickened out, the answer is no... we didn't find out the gender. It seemed like the sonographer didn't even look very closely in that area and she definitely didn't write it down on my paperwork, so not even my doctor knows. Tommy and I are both kind of thinking it is a girl though and Lily is counting on it being a girl, or else! ;)

The baby had its feet crossed and keep kicking them around during the sonogram. It was pretty cute to watch.

The baby's arms were up behind its head, kind of how Isaac sleeps now.

Here is a good profile shot with one of the arms in view. It looks like a very healthy baby. We are really happy. They estimate the baby weighs about 13 ounces now and is roughly the length of a banana. Right on track!

Half Way!

That's right folks. I'm about half way through my pregnancy right now. I am just over 19 weeks and since I will probably be a week early, I'm counting it as half way. :D Here is my little belly shot. I'm definitely still in that stage where people don't want to ask if I'm pregnant but they are definitely wondering. I just think, how could I not be pregnant and look like this?

Next week we will have out ultrasound where we will hopefully NOT find out the gender of the baby. We are taking Lily and she is really excited to see "pictures" of the baby. I'm hoping she is not expecting an animated film or something. ;)

My baby is now about the size of a large heirloom tomato, weighs 8 1/2 ounces, and is approximately 6 inches head to bottom and 10 inches from head to heel. Some say the baby can hear voices now so Lily and I are starting to talk to my belly. Lily especially enjoys blowing raspberries on my belly for the baby. I feel the little movements a few times a day, and every night when I lie down. Tommy has also felt them, though they are definitely small. It has been a good month, much easier than with Lily or Isaac so I'm super grateful. Now off to bed!

The Winner!

Fun Run and GOAL Today

We had a great day today. We had a neighborhood 5K and Kiddie Fun Run sponsored by our ward at our neighborhood park. Tommy came in 1st place! I'm so proud of him. Lily had a great time doing the Fun Run with one of her favorite babysitters. She ran one mile without too much stopping. I was soo proud of her. She ran through the finish line and said "I WON!"

Then later we went to her soccer game. She hadn't scored a goal yet all season. Just as she is running with the ball towards the goal one of the other team's players fell down and got hurt. Instead of stopping the ball and helping him get off field, I said, "GOO Lily!" and she went right down and scored a goal. Later in the game she helped another teammate score by just tapping it in. Then she got a third goal all on her own! She was doing so well out there getting the ball away from the opponents and not being afraid of them. Tommy and I were really proud.

This was Lily right after she scored her first goal! Soo excited and proud of herself!

Let-tuce wrap it up!

Last night I tried out this recipe... It turned out DEL-I-CIOUS!
Tommy had to take cheesy pictures of me eating them.
