Happy Valentine's Day!

Lily's cute valentines were paired with a bag of cute pink popcorn.  Isn't she adorable?

We had a great Valentine's Day.  I got to help with the party in Isaac's preschool classroom.  Then I got to go to Lily's school and do an art project with them.  It was a little rushed just because I came at the end of the day and the kids were a little hiped up on sugar.  We made "love trees".

My cute valentines!
Today I had my preschool valentine's day party and the kids had fun making puffy paint hearts.  You mix flour and salt with water and food coloring, then put it in the micro for 30 seconds and it get all puffy.  It was pretty fun.  We also made love trees with sticky foam hearts.

We love you!

Big Photo Update

Thanks to some family friends, Lily was able to get a new bed and dresser.  It looks soo nice in her room.  She had fun helping me rearrange the furniture for something different. She really wants a new bedspread because she is "soo over pink".  Maybe birthday time.

BEFORE:
Aw, Lily is so cute and little!

AFTER:

My big 7 year old... almost 8! :'-] sniff sniff

Her doll sleeping in her beautiful bed :)
Cute Caleb... all smiles!

Isaac got a bonk on his forehead. ;)
For preschool "Letter Q" day we did "Queens, Kings, Castles and Things"
All the kids built castles and towers

We did a little make believe play where the dragons were guarding the princesses and the knight had to rescue them. They all loved taking turns being the dragons, even the princesses!
Lily playing with her bunny.  Almost one year old!

Isaac started "Little Ninjas" Karate.  He is having a good time learning how to focus and say "Yes Sir" as well.  Pretty cute to watch.

Lily got her first Brownie patches last week, a series of four patches called Brownie Quest.  Then, on Saturday, she ran her first 1 mile race, with her dad running alongside her encouraging her the whole way (in the rain no less!).  And she got 2nd place!!!  Tommy was soo proud of her! She won a box of Girl Scout cookies.  She is now selling cookies and looking forward to Bowling night. :)
I also forgot to say that Lily won the Principal's Writer Award for her grade level in December.  So proud of my awesome student!

Thanksgiving Preschool

Somehow I thought K would be oKay to use for Giving thanKs.  It works, right?  Ah well.  We learned about the letter K, then we learned about Thanksgiving.  I taught the kids how to draw their own turkeys.  Isaac did an awesome job.  Then we talked about what we are thankful for.  Isaac came right out and said "Jesus!"  Sooo proud!  Then he followed with "... and Santa."  Awesome.  "Let's go with Jesus."

Preschool Update

E is for Emotions... we talked all about feelings and the kids did some cute feeling pictures.
F is for Farm... the kids made some fun animals with their hand prints and colored a barn.
G is for Garden and, uh... Harvest.  We had some fun with scarecrows and bean patterns.

H is for Halloween.  :)
I is for Isaac... actually it is for Me, Myself and I... All about Me.  ha, I made it work. ;)
We made these fun All about me books that I think are just adorable!

Today it was a jungle at preschool.  I had some wild animals to tame and teach.  :)  I quickly took a picture before releasing them to the wild again.

Halloween Preschool

For Preschool this week we had a fun Halloween party with silly Halloween dancing and music time.  We also decorated pumpkins with tissue paper and did some Ghost Bowling!  The kids had a blast and Lily had the day off of school so it was fun to have her help.
