Truck Morning and Party Afternoon

We had a fun day on Saturday.  Tom, Shauna, Kirsti and her boys drove up for Lily's birthday party.  Although they were only here for one day, way too short, it was fun to have them.  While Shauna and I got ready for the party, everyone else went to the "Touch a Truck" event.  There were lots of cool trucks to see.

Then we had the Minute to Win it Party!

First we decorated notebooks.  Then we played some classic "minute to win it" games:

Junk in the Trunk: Ping pong balls in an empty tissue box tied t your waist, and shake them out!

Face the Cookie:  Get a cookie from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands... harder than it looks!

Bouncing Ping Pongs into cups

Mad Dog made with stick and two containers of tic tacs, shake them out with your mouth!

Baby Rattle made with empty 2 liter soda bottles and gum balls in one, shake them into the other one.

 Cake and Ice Cream time!

 It was a great celebration with new friends.  We sure missed our Meridian friends though!
