Lily is 7!

Big girl had another birthday and now she is 7. We had a fun party with a lot of her friends. The weather was 80 all week except today, it drops to high sixties but windy and threatened to rain. We warmed up the pool anyways and the kids all had a blast. The rain held off until just after we went inside for cake. It was perfect! We had the kids color their own beach balls first. Then we played a few games in the pool: finding gold rocks with clovers (one had a four leaf clover), a dolphin clicking/clapping guess how many are in the corner game, and a racing game putting a ball across the pool. For snacks we had ocean jello, cheesy fish and salty fish (goldfish), red snappers (swedish fish), cheesy squid (string cheese), crab and crackers, leaping fish sticks with dolphin sauce, and dolphin splashers. :) Plus strawberries and pineapple. A lot of parents stayed to help which was really nice. I made a sheet cake and carved it into a dolphin shape. I think it turned out pretty good. Lily loved it! I'm so happy I have a 7 year old now. She's such an awesome girl!

Here she is opening her presents this morning:  She got a journal with a lock, a dolphin fairy book, a new dress and some summer shirts, a heart pillow, easy bake oven mixes and a dolphin necklace.
Thanks Gma and Gpa Galloway!  She loves this yellow dress!
Thanks Katz for the beautiful headbands! Perfect!
